Activities and Events
Asynchronous-Synchronous Workshops
Each presenter provides a blended asynchronous-synchronous experience designed to go beyond the flat, sterile bounds of webinar learning. Presenters will blend video, exercises, challenge questions, discussions, Q&A, and many other creative interactions into a seamless learning experience, designed with your learning in mind.
Panel Discussions
At least once a week throughout the duration of the conference, we will moderate a panel discussion using ZOOM. The panelists will include our workshop presenters and guest speakers from around the world.
Featured discussions will include Managing L&D during a Pandemic, The Future of L&D, Women in Learning, Diversity and Inclusion and People of Color, and other topics to be chosen later.
Debates
At least once a week throughout the conference we will host a debate which will focus on a topic of key importance; also perhaps topics identified by the participants.
Debaters will each have the opportunity to present their side of the argument, challenge each other with questions and then answer audience questions. Time to get fired up; can you stand the heat?
Press conferences
Once a week a guest speaker will share a live speech on a chosen subject (for up to 15 minutes). After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore the subject further and examine what our guest speaker has shared.
Feedback sessions
We want to help you succeed. Weekly our experts will be available for “OFFICE HOURS” where you can meet with them individually. Use them how you like, but you could explore workshops further, discuss issues, or even share work for feedback. Close the loop and learn more.
Interviews with experts
Get to know industry experts. Every single week we will invite an additional guest for an informal discussion with Will Thalheimer, Matthew Richter, Connie Malamud, or Ashley Sinclair. At the end of each interview, the audience will have a chance to ask questions.
Cracker Barrel
During this scheduled session, you and a small group will sit with one of our experts and focus on a unique topic within L&D. After 20 minutes, you will rotate to another virtual breakout room, with another expert, spending 20 more minutes on a different topic. Talk about group speed dating!! The intelligent kind!
99-seconds
This is an opportunity for you to deliver a presentation on anything you want (as long as your audience will benefit from it). For 99 seconds. Sign-up and we will coach you to prepare a presentation that uses no props, no slides, nothing… except your wits, your charisma, your charm, and of course, your brilliance.
