Learning Science 101: From Neural to Useful

Despite the latest buzz around Learning Experience Design, and all the latest technology like AR and VR, we’re still seeing ineffective instruction. The problem is that we’re gilding a flawed core. And, sad to say, a gilded bad design is still a bad design. But it doesn’t have to be this way! While the brain can be considered the most complex thing in the known universe, there are straightforward frameworks that can drive better learning design. In this session, we’ll provide the essential tour of cognition and learning science, and the implications for good design.
